Great Product -- BUT know what they are for
A quick primer because the other reviewer seems confused. These are NOT ice cubes. They have one very specific purpose, putting a SLIGHT chill on straight whiskey to allow some of the flavors to open up and take some of the edge off the Bourbon/Scotch. Hence there is no reason for a child to be using them. Additionally as for hitting them your teeth, again these are not ice cubes and if you are chugging your whiskey, well good on yah mate but these is not for you.

My girlfriend bought me these because I like to enjoy a Bourbon after work. After putting 3 stones in a glass and waiting, the stones put a slight chill on the Bourbon. They didn't cool the whiskey down so much as to subdue the flavor. It just chilled it some to take the edge the off and made a very pleasant drink, not watered down. I recommend this if you have someone who enjoys a good glass whiskey straight.

Use: Rinse before first usage then place in your freezer until the stones are as cold as desired. When ready, add two or three stones to your glass. After use, simply rinse and allow the stones to dry before returning them to your freezer. Never chew or attempt to eat.
About Soapstone: Known for its ability to maintain a temperature for long periods of time, natural soapstone is listed as Generally Regarded As Safe (GRAS) by the FDA. Soapstone is made up of talc which will not react to water, alcohol and or other drinks. If used with care, soapstone will not scratch your glasses. These stones are great, they work as advertised and prevent your drink from becoming watered down.
I did have one rocks glass break. It was a very strange break and I think these stones may have had something to do with it. So I would recommend not swirling the glass around with the rocks in the glass. It was as if the stone scored a perfect ring around the inside of the glass. Spilt a full glass of 12 year single malt on my lap.

This seller has the best bang for the buck, and I would do repeat business.
